This Privacy Policy explains how the CedarStars application and website (cedarstars.elevate11.us), operated by Elevate11 ("we", "us", "our"), collect, use, and protect information. CedarStars is a private club-management tool used by soccer clubs to organize teams, rosters, evaluations, training, and player development. Access is invitation-based: accounts are created for club administrators, coaches, staff, players, and parents/guardians by an authorized club administrator.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, phone number (optional), and your role within a club, used to sign you in and control what you can see.
• Club and roster data — teams, player profiles, jersey numbers, positions, birth dates, and membership records. Some of this data relates to minors and is entered by authorized club staff or by a player's parent/guardian.
• Performance and development data — coach evaluations, skill ratings, attendance, training load, match notes, wellness check-ins (such as self-reported sleep, energy, and mood), and player "passport" records.
• Technical data — a secure session token stored on your device to keep you signed in, plus basic request logs (such as IP address and timestamps) used for security and reliability.

We do not collect precise location, we do not use third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

How we use information

• To provide the app's core features: authentication, team and roster management, evaluations, training, performance tracking, and notifications.
• To keep you signed in securely and enforce role-based access (a coach, parent, or player only sees the data appropriate to their role).
• To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the service.
• To respond to support requests.

Children's information

CedarStars is designed for use by clubs and their authorized adults; it is not directed to children and children do not create their own accounts. Where information about a minor is stored, it is entered and managed by the club and/or the child's parent or guardian, who are responsible for ensuring they have the right to provide it. We process this information on the club's behalf solely to deliver the service, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling. A parent, guardian, or club administrator may request access to, correction of, or deletion of a minor's information using the contact details below.

How information is shared

We do not sell your information. Information is shared only:

• Within your club, according to each member's role and permissions.
• With service providers that host and operate the platform (for example, cloud hosting and database infrastructure), under obligations to protect the data.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as your club's account is active and as needed to provide the service. When a member or player leaves, records may be archived by the club. You may request deletion of your account data as described below, subject to legitimate record-keeping and legal obligations.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is protected by authentication and role-based permissions. Session credentials are stored securely on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your rights and choices

• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
• You can sign out at any time from within the app to remove the session from your device.
• Parents/guardians and club administrators may act on behalf of players in their care.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notice within the app.
